The services of the Patos Police Station, within the framework of controls to crack down on the criminal activity of illegal possession of weapons, based on information obtained in operational ways, have organized and finalized, in cooperation with the services of the Fier Police Commissariat, the operation codenamed "No Guns 4".
During the operation, the Police services conducted a search of the apartment of citizen YA, Patos, where they found 1 automatic firearm and cartridges, which were seized as material evidence.
Following the procedural actions, the Criminal Investigation specialists of the Fier Police Commissariat arrested citizen YA, 64 years old, for the criminal offense of “Unauthorized possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further actions.
