New details emerge from the investigative file of the Special Prosecution Office against Corruption and Organized Crime (SPAK) regarding the investigation centered on businessman Ergys Agasi and the recent developments involving several officials and other individuals. One of the leads being verified by investigators is related to the data extracted from the seized phones and analyzed at the Police Scientific Laboratory. According to the investigation materials, part of this data is suspected to have been made available to Ergys Agasi by Fatjon Kalluci, at that time head of a sector at the Scientific Police Institute.
According to the file, it concerns expert reports and materials obtained after the dismantling and analysis of telephones in the laboratory. SPAK is investigating how these materials left the relevant structures, who administered them and under what circumstances they ended up in the hands of Agas. Kalluci was arrested on September 22 as part of new developments in the investigation. According to reports published after the operation, he has been ordered to be held in prison, while the suspicions are related to the release of secret documents.
Overall, the investigation is focusing on several areas: Agas's communications during the period he was wanted, the source of the information he is suspected of receiving, the extraction of materials from state structures, and the assistance he may have received to evade authorities. SPAK and BKH continue to administer and analyze electronic and documentary evidence. The criminal liability of the persons involved will be determined at the conclusion of the judicial proceedings.
