Fans of the "The Mummy" saga have reason to be excited. Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz are back on set for the fourth film in the series, reprising their iconic roles as Rick and Evelyn O'Connell.
Brendan Fraser, 57, was photographed at a former military base in Suffolk, England, while filming an action scene. The actor appeared in his character's signature outfit, while one of the scenes even involved an old race car.

Meanwhile, Rachel Weisz was filming in London. The actress reprises her role as archaeologist Evelyn Carnahan and was photographed near the British Museum, wearing a period costume.

Weisz wore a short brown jacket, a mustard-colored polka-dot skirt, and a hat. She carried a leather bag and a camera, bringing back the look of Evelyn Carnahan to the screen.

Fraser and Weisz first joined the saga in 1999 with “The Mummy.” The pair returned in 2001 with “The Mummy Returns,” but Weisz did not appear in the third film, “The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor,” released in 2008.
Her return in the fourth film thus marks a long-awaited reunion of the first two protagonists of the saga.
The cast of "The Mummy 4" is also expected to include Oded Fehr, John Hannah and Kevin J. O'Connor.
Plot details have not yet been made public, while the film is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett, known for "Ready or Not" and the new "Scream" films.
"The Mummy 4" is expected to be released in October 2027.
