Kosovo's new president takes oath and delivers her first speech

The new President of the Republic of Kosovo, Justina Shiroka-Pula, after being elected to this position, delivered her speech before the members of the Kosovo Assembly, reports Ekonomia Online.

Shiroka-Pula said that she accepts the task with honor and responsibility, emphasizing that her mandate belongs to all citizens of Kosovo.

"Today, I accept with great honor and full responsibility the office of President of the Republic of Kosovo. This mandate does not belong to just one person; it belongs to our citizens, our institutions, and the state for which many generations sacrificed," she said.

The new president vowed to be the president of all citizens, without political, ethnic or social differences.

"I will be the president of all citizens, I will stand without political, ethnic or social distinction. I will work for unity, justice, development and the strengthening of our institutions," said Shiroka-Pula.

She emphasized that Kosovo must continue its path as a democratic state, with a Euro-Atlantic orientation and strong relations with allies.

Blendi Kajsiu: Prime Minister's misunderstanding on anti-corruption

The fact that no institution of our public administration noticed that millions of euros were invested in phantom incinerators, that AKSHI was controlled by an ordinary criminal, that the directors of the Municipality of Tirana awarded tenders to themselves, or that the police director and the director of SHISH worked for Gysi, shows that we do not have a public administration and a state.
