Many citizens gathered tonight in "Ibrahim Rugova" Square in Pristina, as part of the "Night of Waiting", on the eve of the announcement of the verdict by the Special Court in The Hague against former KLA leaders, Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi.
With flags of Kosovo and the KLA, citizens have taken to the square to await the decision that is expected to be announced tomorrow in The Hague.
From the square, PDK vice president Besiana Musmurati told Ekonomia Online that the KLA is closely connected to the people of Kosovo.
Musmurat expressed his hope that the decision will be "on the side of the people," demanding the release of former KLA leaders.
She said that what she misses the most is their energy and inspiration.
"For their energy, for the inspiration they bring, and for their work that has always put Kosovo first," she said.
