Despite the fierce controversies he has had with Hashim Thaçi, Sali Berisha says that he only expects innocence from The Hague for the former KLA leaders.
"Tomorrow in The Hague, the court, after a protracted six-year process, announces the long-awaited decision for the former political leaders of Kosovo. All those who have followed this process with special interest have not heard or read a single piece of evidence that supports the charges for which they were arrested.
Therefore, for every Albanian, for the former political leaders of Kosovo, there can be only one decision: their innocence and only their innocence. And we hope that they return innocent as they are, proud heroes of the liberation of Kosovo.
But the threats made to Kosovo, its order, peace and security in the event of a different decision by the Hague Court, are absolutely unacceptable, absurd and condemnable. Kosovo cannot pay anything for an unjust judicial decision! - writes Berisha. ©LAPSI.al
