An incident occurred during an interview of Prime Minister Edi Rama with American journalist Andrew Callaghan, for the media platform "Channel 5".
According to what this social media platform alone reports, the head of the Albanian government interrupted the conversation and unexpectedly left the interview before it ended, according to what Channel5 itself has revealed.
According to them, the tensions began when Callaghan asked direct and strong questions about sensitive issues. The interview was focusing on the expanded investigations into corruption, money laundering and drug trafficking in Albania.
The situation was further aggravated when the American journalist asked Prime Minister Rama about his connections, specifically mentioning his relationship with Jared Kushner, the son-in-law of US President Donald Trump, and his projects on the Albanian coast.
"Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama walks out of interview with Channel 5's Andrew Callaghan amid wide-ranging investigations into corruption, money laundering, drug trafficking and his business relationship with Jared Kushner. The full interview will be published next week," this platform writes. /LAPSI.al
