49-year-old man stabbed in Tirana, perpetrator arrested

A stabbing occurred this Wednesday evening in Tirana. Police say that immediately after receiving the report of the incident on "Marko Boçari" street, they went to the scene to clarify the authorship and circumstances of the case.

The injured person is KC, 49 years old. Police say that as a result of the immediate response and rapid investigative and operational actions, the suspected perpetrator, citizen TN, 50 years old, was identified, arrested and put in handcuffs.

"From the investigative actions so far, it is suspected that the 50-year-old injured the 49-year-old with a cutting tool, after a conflict for weak motives. The injured person is in hospital, under the care of doctors. The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action" - the police announcement states. /LAPSI.al
