
The General Directorate of Taxes announced that cooperation with the Guardia di Finanza has identified a tax evasion scheme in the road transport sector, with around 6 million euros in undeclared income.
The investigation, conducted by the Guardia di Finanza of Chieti, in collaboration and through the exchange of information with the Albanian tax administration, has identified 95 undeclared employees, around 3.5 million euros in invoices for fictitious operations and over 1.2 million euros in unpaid contributions.
The General Directorate of Taxation said that it will continue to strengthen cooperation and exchange of information with tax administrations and international partner authorities, with the aim of preventing tax evasion schemes and protecting fair competition./Monitor
