When all the news screens were flashing the "breaking news" about the mafia execution of a 44-year-old man in Saranda, the Minister of Interior and the Director General of the State Police were "LIVE" this Sunday from Rinas airport where they asked police officers to behave well with foreign tourists.
In addition to the person who lost his life, a bystander was hit by bullets and injured. He was then taken by helicopter to Tirana for more specialized treatment.
When it became apparent that the situation was worsening, the head of the state police decided to go to Saranda himself sometime around lunchtime. He gathered the leaders of the Saranda police and asked them to clarify the incident.
The police say that drones are also being used to conduct checks in various territories in the Saranda and Delvina areas, while the investigative group, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is continuing its work to collect any evidence that will serve the investigation. ©LAPSI.al
