
Former Democratic Party MP Azgan Haklaj has been detained by North Macedonian authorities at the Bllata border crossing in Dibër. Haklaj has also shared the news of the detention on his Facebook profile.
Sources say he was detained by the prime minister's secret service, who told them he was a threat to national security. Ali Ahmeti, the leader of the Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) in North Macedonia, was also notified of the incident.
Haklaj was traveling to Skopje together with journalist Ferdinand Samarxhiu, where a protest march is expected to take place today regarding the decision of the Special Court against former KLA leaders. /LAPSI.al
