The investigation into the use of public funds received by companies that have contracts with the state is deepening. At the center of recent developments are Arjeta Puca and Ron Yeffet, who have opened the business "Timak Horse", focused on horses and equestrianism.
According to publicly available data, "Timak Horse" is headquartered at Equos Resort, owned by businessman Ergys Agasi, purchased by Gazmen Brahimi.
In the same area where Equos Resort is located, SPAK, as part of the investigation into the AKSHI case, has seized about 50 thousand square meters of land and about 1,300 square meters of construction area, related to the ownership of Ergys Agas.
The "Timak Horse" business was opened during a period when Agasi was on the run. Meanwhile, Puca and Yeffet are expected to be questioned by SPAK this week.
Their questioning comes after the seizure of contracts and documents at the Ministry of Defense and the TIMAK company. Investigations are underway into suspicions of money laundering, abuse of power, and favoritism in public tenders and competitions.
Syri journalist Elton Qyno reports that one of the tracks being verified is the trail of public funds and the way they were used. As part of the investigations, expenses and investments related to properties, luxury vehicles and other activities have been identified.
If in the investigations into the AKSH, SPAK is verifying the use of public funds for various expenses, including luxury products and other activities, the investigation related to the funds of the Ministry of Defense is also highlighting the activity of "Timak Horse" and the horse business.
SPAK is now verifying financial connections, public contracts and the destination of the money, while the interrogation of Puca and Yeffet and the seized documents are expected to shed more light on how the funds were used and the connections between the companies and individuals under investigation./ Syri.net
