The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, has reacted after the announcement of the verdict against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selim and Jakup Krasniqi.
Rama published a photo on social media with just one word: "Take it," apparently expressing his opposition to the Specialized Chambers' decision.
But Albanians do not have as short a memory as the prime minister thinks. Many of them remember Rama's stance in favor of establishing the Special Court, his urgent trips to Pristina, and the role he played in convincing Thaci to vote in favor of this court.
"Goodbye Vučić," writes one of them, while another says: "Take it for yourself that you came by private plane" to put pressure on the court. Commentators also recall the joint project with Vučić "Open Balkans", while others recall the Socialist Party's vote against the resolution condemning Serbian crimes in Kosovo.
