Dashamir Shehi commented today on the much-discussed issue of the last two days related to SHISH.
Speaking to "A2CNN", Shehi said that Prime Minister Edi Rama appointed Vlora Hyseni to head the State Intelligence Service, solely to oppose Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti, who fired Hyseni when he was working for the KIA.
"I believe that he was appointed to face the person who fired him. Even if he was fired without reason, he should not be put in the secret services in Albania. Usually, people who know the environment are appointed to these services. Someone from outside cannot do it," said Shehi.
The sheikh said that the country's secret services have long been in the hands of corrupt officials, paid to harm the country.
"The secret services have been in the hands of some people who are just as corruptible as directors and ministers. These are there to spy on people who want to harm the country, not to communicate with criminals and cover up drug abuses," said Shehi.
