Citizens continued their protest against the government and Prime Minister Edi Rama for the 116th consecutive day this Wednesday, returning to the Prime Minister's Office with calls for the resignation of the head of government.
Even at today's rally, protesters have chosen banners and ironic messages to express their criticism of the government and state institutions.
At the center of the messages this time are the latest developments related to security institutions and the investigation against the head of SHISH, Vlora Hyseni.
"When SHISH makes deals for its own account, there is no law here, they no longer have a state," reads one of the banners held by the protesters.
"From Belinda to SHISH, the whole team in handcuffs! Edi Rama resigns, not even the gang can save you," is the message of another banner.
Today's protest marks the 116th day of consecutive anti-government rallies. For months, citizens have been gathering in front of the Prime Minister's Office and marching in the streets of Tirana, while the main demand articulated during the protests remains the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama and the departure of the government.
