The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, received today the new Ambassador of the United States of America to Albania, Eric Wendt, on the occasion of the presentation of his Letters of Credentials.
The President of the Republic accepted the Letters of Credentials from the American Ambassador and wished him success in this mandate.
The Head of State reconfirmed Albania's determination to strengthen the strategic partnership with the United States of America.
In this context, President Begaj stated that Albania will continue to be fully engaged in deepening relations, relying on the advantages of its foreign policy and the responsibilities that stem from the close relationship.
"The United States is an irreplaceable partner for advancing national interests," emphasized President Begaj.
Following the official Credentials ceremony, President Begaj held a one-on-one meeting with Ambassador Wendt.
