The administrator of eco-elb SHA, Leli Kaja, was arrested after receiving an envelope of money. 4 million old lek, the series of which had been previously registered by SPAK, were demanded and accepted by the official of the Elbasan incinerator in exchange for his inaction in connection with a legal procedure.
The four-day investigation began after a referral from the National Bureau of Investigation, which is also investigating other suspicious relationships with economic operators. Several mobile phones and documentary practices were seized during the operation.
Leli Kaja has held the position of administrator of eco-alb SHA since October 2022, and on Thursday he is expected to appear before the special court for the determination of the security measure.
It remains to be seen how this session will take place in the conditions where lawyers have announced a boycott of security measures at the GJKKO, withdrawing the list of lawyers, mainly those insured by the state.
