The state police announced that at around 9:20 PM, in the village of Zhymë in Lushnje, citizen Florian Dalladaku, 45 years old, is suspected of having, for reasons still unclear, hit his mother, citizen FD, 80 years old, with a cutting metal object (a club) in their apartment.
As a result of the injuries she sustained, she lost her life, while her father, citizen HD, 77 years old, was seriously injured and is in hospital, under the care of doctors.
Police say the perpetrator, who is suspected of suffering from mental health problems, left the apartment after the incident. Police services are continuing to search for his location and arrest.
The investigation team is at the scene and, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, is working to fully document the circumstances of the incident. ©LAPSI.al
