The opposition has asked President Bajram Begaj to immediately convene the National Security Council, following the house arrest and suspension of the head of intelligence, Vlora Hyseni. This is the opposition's first reaction to the measure issued this morning by the GJKKO, while SPAK was also searching the apartment of former Blues manager, Ilir Proda.
MP Jorida Tabaku says that it must be clarified whether information, the work of institutions and the security of citizens have been violated. She further states that justice must do its job to the end, without being hindered. She further holds the Rama government responsible as a system that "has elected and promoted" these leaders, while underlining again that their removal is necessary.

Albania woke up today with reports of a security measure against the head of the SHISH and searches in the apartment of the former director of the State Police, as part of the investigations into Ergys Agas and the AKSHI file. A day after the propaganda spectacle of the Minister of Interior, Albanians are faced with suspicions that affect the very top of the institutions responsible for their security. This is the appearance of a rotten system that is destroying Albania, after having destroyed the foundations of the state. When investigations into a structured criminal group reach the heads of security institutions, the question becomes inevitable: who have these institutions served? The citizens they were supposed to protect, or the power and interests they were supposed to investigate?
Every day a piece falls from the propaganda wall and behind it the roots of crime, corruption and their connections with the government appear. Political responsibility has a name: Edi Rama. He has chosen these leaders, promoted them and presented them to the Albanians as the face of his state. Today, they are owed an answer. The President of the Republic must immediately convene the National Security Council. It must be clarified whether state information, the work of institutions and the security of citizens have been violated. Albania cannot wait for the next appearance of propaganda, while doubts affect the very structures that are supposed to protect it.
Justice must do its job to the end, without political shields and without obstacles. But political responsibility cannot be postponed indefinitely, waiting for the prosecution to speak for every link in this system. This government is the source of the disease. Its removal is necessary to pave the way for the healing of a country where Albanians are impoverished, while a minority is enriched by power, corruption and impunity. Time for change! Time to eradicate this system! Time for this majority to leave!
