The headless Tirana, for which the Prime Minister pretends to mourn whenever Erion Veliaj is mentioned behind bars, seems to have already found its "savior". A new character, which Rama himself seeks to impose on the capital. He is the Minister of Internal Affairs, Ervin Demo.
Still not familiar with his office, let alone his areas of responsibility, Demo was on a show this morning at the Combine, talking about reconstruction, a process that has nothing to do with the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Like a weak actor in front of the cameras, Demo swore that he would finalize the reconstruction and that the citizens of this neighborhood were right in their concern.
Even worse was Deputy Prime Minister Albana Kociu, who reported to Ervin Demos as if she were Edi Rama's headless municipal inspector.
Of course, Demo and Kociu have their intellectual, professional, and political deficiencies, but they are not stupid enough to go to the Combines and talk about reconstruction.
The movements are coordinated with Edi Rama's plan for the Municipality of Tirana. Ogerta Manastirliu is no longer the SP's option for the electoral race next spring. Erion Brace no and no.
It is likely that Edi Rama will nominate Ervin Demon. The propaganda appearances around Tirana of the new Minister of Internal Affairs in these first days of his duty leave little room for doubt.
