The dynamics of the serious incident in the area of Panorama Street, near SPAK, have been revealed. A 58-year-old woman lost her life this Saturday in Tirana, after being stabbed by her husband during a family conflict. The incident occurred in the apartment of the couple's daughter. Lumturie Patushi was taking care of her two minor grandchildren when an argument broke out between her and her husband, Hysni Patushi.
According to preliminary data, the 68-year-old man stabbed his wife in the chest in the presence of his 10- and 14-year-old grandchildren. She was taken to the hospital, but did not survive. After the incident, the suspect fled and was later arrested in the Kamza area. Police also found the knife suspected of being used in the crime near the building.
Sources suggest that the 68-year-old may have been intoxicated. The couple lived in the Don Bosko area, but often went to the girl's house to help her with the children. In 2017, Hysni Patushi was previously arrested for domestic violence against his wife. The police have also accompanied the son-in-law of the family for questioning. The two minors are expected to testify in the presence of a psychologist to clarify what happened before the murder.
