Tensions outside the Kosovo Assembly increased in the evening after protesters threw fireworks as they waited for MPs to pass amendments to the law on the Special Court. Kosovo police responded to protesters with tear gas in front of the Assembly.
Ambulance sirens can also be heard on the street. Police had previously formed a cordon near the Parliament building. At around 19:00, deputies from the Vetëvendosje Movement were seen leaving the Parliament building.
