The protest in front of the Kosovo Assembly has intensified during the speeches of the deputies in the extraordinary session. Sources say that the protesters are throwing pyrotechnic devices towards the Assembly building.
The protest has been called by the KLA War Veterans Organization, in support of proposed amendments to the Law on Specialized Chambers and the Specialized Prosecutor's Office.
Meanwhile, the plenary session continues inside the Parliament, where MPs are reviewing the draft law, after it was earlier approved by the Legislation Committee with 9 votes in favor and none against. Tensions increased when MPs began discussions in the plenary hall.
