Players have not been paid, Discipline blocks Tirana and Vllaznia transfer

The Disciplinary and Ethics Commission of the Albanian Football Association (AFHA) has published its decisions, with a series of strong measures against clubs, players and officials. At the center of the decisions are Tirana, Vllaznia, Besa and Lushnja, which face a ban on registering new players for three registration periods, due to outstanding obligations determined by the National Dispute Resolution Chamber.

Tirana is one of the clubs most affected by the decision. Due to the failure to comply with two decisions of the National Dispute Resolution Chamber, in the cases Romeo Harizaj–KF Tirana and Gledi Mici–KF Tirana, the club is prohibited from registering new players for 3 registration periods, until the full settlement of the obligations.

Vllaznia has also been punished with the same measure, after failing to comply with the decision in the Liridon Latifi–KF Vllaznia case. Likewise, FC Besa faces a blocking of the registration of new players for 3 periods in two cases, the one with Emiljano Çela and the one with Bekim Kuli.

KF Lushnja is in the same situation, having been banned from registering new players for three periods due to non-implementation of the decision in the Ardit Hoxhaj–KF Lushnja case.

Three 30-day deadlines for Tirana

Tirana's problems with the Dispute Resolution Chamber's decisions do not end here. The commission has also accepted the requests of Kleandro Lleshi, Fatmir Prengaj and Erisildo Smaç, giving the club a 30-day notice period to execute the respective decisions.

Vllaznia has also faced a similar measure, with a 30-day deadline for the execution of the decision in the Ildi Gruda–KF Vllaznia case.

8-match suspension for Vora official

One of the most severe suspensions of this decision was given to KF Vora official, Bazion Tragaj. For repeated unsportsmanlike behavior towards match officials, Tragaj was sentenced to an 8-match suspension from activities. During this period, he is also prohibited from entering the locker rooms and the interior of the stadium.

Vllaznia player Adnard Mehmeti, for provoking spectators, and Tirana official Omer Bunjaku, for protesting against the decisions of the match officials, were also suspended for 2 matches.

Fines for clubs

The commission has also taken measures regarding the behavior of fans during matches. KF Laçi has been fined 100 thousand lek for failing to take the necessary measures to guarantee order and security, as well as for throwing objects on the playing field.

Skanderbeg was also fined 100,000 lek after lighting flares and throwing objects on the field.

Meanwhile, Vllaznia was fined 50 thousand lek for throwing objects on the playing field, while Tirana was fined 50 thousand lek for lighting flares and other pyrotechnic devices.

For Teuta, the Commission has issued a warning for technical or organizational problems that could cause the interruption of the normal development of matches. In case of repetition, the club will be subject to disciplinary measures provided for in the regulations.

Blendi Kajsiu: Prime Minister's misunderstanding on anti-corruption

The fact that no institution of our public administration noticed that millions of euros were invested in phantom incinerators, that AKSHI was controlled by an ordinary criminal, that the directors of the Municipality of Tirana awarded tenders to themselves, or that the police director and the director of SHISH worked for Gysi, shows that we do not have a public administration and a state.
