The scandal of the head of SHISH/ A parrot president who makes us laugh at the crisis

Bajram Begaj u ripërdor nga Rama për të përsëritur në emër të një duzine personash të njëjtin mesazh që kryeministri kishte dhënë një ditë më parë

The scandal of the head of SHISH/ A parrot president who makes us laugh at the

The use of General Baromi has not stopped. Found in the deepest crisis of his power, Edi Rama, when he was informed of the arrest of Vlora Hyseni, who was accused of giving secret service information to his friend Ergys Agas, took two steps. Initially, he said that he should consult with the president of the republic about the dismissal of the chief spy and the appointment of her successor. Then, through his propaganda apparatus, he put forward the idea that the situation was so serious that the National Security Council had to be convened. Begaj signed the dismissal decree before Rama returned from New York, while to convene the pompous but powerless council, he waited for the 'de facto' chief to arrive in Tirana.

And what happened? Once again, the president behaved like Rama's clown, organizing a solemn meeting at the brigades' palace to repeat the same messages that the head of government had articulated from the airport lobby.

If you compare the statement produced after the closed-door meeting, from the presidency's office, it is as similar as two drops of water to the position of the head of government a day earlier.

"Individual issues should not turn into a crisis of trust in the state and security institutions,"

it was said in the main paragraph of the presidency's announcement.

Although Bajram Begaj labels the issue of a service chief aiding a fugitive from justice, even supplying him with secret materials, as an individual problem and almost calls on the judiciary not to put the security institution into crisis, the presidency continues:

"For national security, institutions do not compete with each other. They have different responsibilities, but serve the same interest: the security of the Republic of Albania. Any institutional mistrust should be replaced with cooperation, coordination and professional communication."

But let's take a look at what Edi Rama said on Sunday from Rinas. First, he labeled Vlora Hyseni's case as a personal issue with the justice system, and second, he emphasized that this justice system, more specifically SPAK, has attacked the state through this individual affair.

"When the investigation reaches the head of the country's intelligence service, then this is no longer the problem of an independent power. This is a problem of the entire state... During the taking of the measure and the judicial administration of the file, an institution with particular sensitivity to the security and reputation of the state was exposed. It was exposed to the potential for great damage, which could and should have been completely prevented."

Let's take a look at these two concepts that Bajram Begaaj repeated like a parrot.

Is the Vlora Hyseni case personal or institutional? If it had been purely personal, a sin of passion with a married man, this would of course not have been a problem. But with the way the former head of SHISH has behaved, she has also tarnished the institution. Many of her agents knew about this connection, but the meetings were held on their own grounds. Even after Agasi was declared wanted, the continuation of the chief spy's relationship with the daahsnor has not been a secret for her close associates. So regardless of how much Edi deceives and Bajrami tweets, the wound to the institution is much deeper. And this is the only reason that only two pages have come out of the voluminous Gysi Vlora file, and it is the file that is being shaved more fanatically than ever. Because within it there are elements that blow up the reputation of the state.

But Edi Rama has insisted on only these two pages, putting the hammer down and saying that the state was exposed to great damage. But who exposed the state to this crap: his chosen one, or the justice that discovered it? According to the principle that a theft is serious only when it is discovered and this is when it is committed, Rama manipulates by serving as a bait two phrases "he mo shpirt", "Kush na e vebri mo zerto" that were made public and not because of the fact that Vlora Hyseni was working for a fugitive.

And in this game, Begaj is also following him, turning the National Security Council meeting into a farce. In the presidency's statement, the emphasis was also placed on the fact that SPAK competed with SHISHI, damaging the state, while the Vlora Hyseni affair was an individual problem. When you hear it said by Rama, you can get angry. But when you experience it repeated by his parrot, you can only laugh. Because every crisis, no matter how serious it is, also brings with it its funny elements.

Blendi Kajsiu: Prime Minister's misunderstanding on anti-corruption

The fact that no institution of our public administration noticed that millions of euros were invested in phantom incinerators, that AKSHI was controlled by an ordinary criminal, that the directors of the Municipality of Tirana awarded tenders to themselves, or that the police director and the director of SHISH worked for Gysi, shows that we do not have a public administration and a state.
