
Albanians have also protested in the US, after the Special Court in The Hague sentenced four former KLA leaders to 81 years in prison. In the heart of New York, in Times Square, Albanians protested last night, emphasizing that injustices cannot diminish the history and purity of the liberation war.
As can be seen in the footage, Albanians hold flags and pictures of Hashim Thaçi, Rexhep Selim, Jakup Krasniqi and Kadri Veseli, while singing patriotic songs. Their message is clear that the diaspora does not forget the liberators and will always stand together under the call for freedom, justice and dignity.
