The State Cadastre Agency continues its door-to-door campaign to identify on-site housing with problems in ownership documentation. Since the beginning of September, the "combing" of the territory has been taking place in the villages of the Himara Municipality.
To facilitate communication with citizens and to give them the opportunity to follow the progress of the treatment of their apartment, ASHK periodically publishes data on the action on the Field Consultation Platform, which is available on the official website www.ashk.gov.al. Through this information, residents of the villages involved in the process can be informed about the status of the apartment and the documents that may be missing in their file.
In cases where the apartment has not been verified during the action, citizens can contact the ASHK specialist at the administrative unit, field groups or call the green line 0800 88 11, during the period of the action in the respective municipality.
Through this initiative, the Cadastre aims to strengthen direct communication with residents, facilitate information on necessary documentation, and support the continuation of procedures for dealing with informal housing.
ASHK calls on citizens to be informed through official channels and to cooperate with teams on the ground, to assist in the progress of the legalization and formalization of ownership process. ASHK teams will be in the villages of Himara Municipality until November 25.
During 2026, the Cadastre has digitized 4.2 million property cards, while a national project for the digitization and georeferencing of 38 thousand physical maps and tablets has also been launched. In parallel, the Initial Registration has reached 95.3% of the country's territory, fulfilling the objective set within the framework of the European integration process. Meanwhile, in the first nine months of 2026 alone, over 28 thousand decisions on legalizations have been issued, a figure that exceeds the entire volume of 2025.
