The former head of the Fier Cadastre, Ertis Shehu, and the construction businessman, Kastriot Hasko, have been arrested by the State Police on the orders of the Fier Prosecutor's Office, as part of the investigation into a suspected case of forgery of property documents in Seman. According to sources, Shehu and Hasko have been under investigation by the Fier Prosecutor's Office for months, while the arrest warrants were executed this Wednesday evening in Tirana.
The suspected case of forgery of property documents in Seman was discovered at the end of 2024, about two months after the General Director of the Cadastre, Lorena Goxhobelli, had taken office. The irregularities were found during an administrative inspection carried out at that time. The case was referred to SPAK at that time, while it is not yet known whether the Special Prosecution Office has launched an investigation into the complaint.
In parallel, the case has been investigated by the Fier Prosecutor's Office, which has been conducting verifications regarding the ownership documentation in Seman for months. After the investigations, the Fier Prosecutor's Office concluded by issuing arrest warrants for the former head of the Fier Cadastre, Ertis Shehu, and businessman Kastriot Hasko.
