The problems are not over for Rolando Maran, on the eve of his debut in the Nations League. After losing Pajaziti and Laçi, the Italian technician may not have Ivan Balliu available either. The Communications Department of the Albanian Football Association (AFSH) reports that the right-back suffered an ankle injury during the last match played with his club, Rayo Vallecano, in a transfer against Osasuna.
Balliu underwent an MRI, which revealed an ankle injury, and has begun a rehabilitation program with his club. The Albanian National Team medical staff is in constant communication with Rayo Vallecano's medical staff to closely monitor the player's condition and the progress of his recovery.
If the situation improves in the coming days, Balliu will join the group of players assembled by coach Maran for the next national team matches.
TACTICAL GYM FOR OTHERS
The Albanian national team continues preparations for the next four matches valid for the UEFA Nations League, as the red and black team held its next training session at the "House of Football" this afternoon.
Coach Maran had all 28 players gathered for this preparatory phase at his disposal. The session began with exercises in the gym, while the players then continued their work on the field, where they focused on various tactical schemes and tasks.
The national team will continue preparations at the "House of Football" over the coming days, ahead of the next UEFA Nations League matches. Meanwhile, tomorrow, at 12:00, two national team players will appear before the media at a press conference that will take place in the conference room of the "House of Football".
