Zinedine Zidane achieved his second victory in two Nations League matches since he became France coach. Two goals and two away wins, moreover against Belgium and Turkey, which take the French to 6 points, with Belgium and Italy following with 3 each. There were two minutes left in the game when Olise, with some dribbling and especially after a long run, managed to hit a precise left-footed shot, allowing France to take another three points. At that moment Zidane could not hold back any longer.

The France coach exploded, literally, displaying a completely unexpected celebration. Zizou let himself go completely. First he imitated Olise's dribbling and then accompanied him at the moment of the shot. And that's when Zidane found himself in front of a ball, which he hit with all the force he has with his right foot, causing the cone on which he was leaning to rise. A very powerful shot that ended far away and the explosion of joy along with his entire bench: "I don't even know what I did."

Many people asked Zidane what happened at that moment. “I don’t really know what I did,” he said in the press conference immediately after the match. “I probably followed Michael’s action… I felt him start dribbling and he made an extraordinary move, so I reacted by following him; then I saw the ball there and I said to myself: ‘Well, I have to kick it.’ It may seem a little funny, but it doesn’t matter.” What surprised Zidane was precisely the naturalness of this action. It’s not the first time something like this has happened.

Even at Real Madrid, in the face of Cristiano Ronaldo's brilliance, Zidane indulged in unbridled gestures and celebrations. For a moment he took off his coach's clothes and put on those of a fan, a lover of beautiful football, to greet that action. Today, there are many champions in France and of course the role requires rigor and professionalism.
