Juventus did not go beyond a draw in Cagliari. A point that for a moment the Bianconeri thought they could turn into a victory, after Kolo Muani, the author of the goal, hit the crossbar. There was also tension at the end of the match between technicians Luciano Spalletti and Fabio Pisacane. An alleged waste of time seems to have been the cause of the argument between the two coaches. This may also explain why the Bianconeri coach appeared somewhat irritated during the usual TV interview after the match.

On DAZN, after hearing his version of events, Spalletti was asked a question by former Inter and Udinese coach Andrea Stramaccioni, now one of the opinion leaders on this television: “Coach, the impression is that Juventus started to fill the penalty area more since you activated the two strikers. I have the impression that Kolo Muani feels more comfortable when he has another striker nearby,” he asked. At this point, Spalletti became irritated: “Yes, Andrea, but were you watching the match in the first half?”

The studio fell silent and Spalletti responded in the same tone to the commentator Stramaccioni after his question: "In the 25th minute I pulled McKennie into midfield and decided that Nico Gonzalez would do what Woltemade did in the second half, that is, play as a second striker. The same thing happened", emphasized the Juventus coach. "Both can switch positions and Kolo, if he is left free to move, also becomes difficult to mark. In some aspects of this nature, I liked him a lot during the match".

Thus, Spalletti disputed the studio interpretation, explaining that he had placed another striker next to Kolo Muani in the first half, as happened with Woltemade in the second half. But Stramaccioni, immediately after greeting the technician Spalletti, made it clear that he was not satisfied with the answer and insisted on his point of view on the matter: “I understand the coach’s answer, it is correct, he defends his choice, but it was something completely different”, explained Strama. “Woltemade is 198 centimeters tall. Kolo Muani’s goal and crossbar prove this, because they were two almost identical actions, in which the Frenchman moves around the striker. This was also confirmed to us by the player himself”.

Stramaccioni later recalled: “Kolo Muani’s best moves were often played in pairs, with Mbappé in France or with Gonçalo Ramos when he was at PSG.” In short, Spalletti disagrees with Stramaccioni’s analysis. Kolo Muani is undoubtedly an atypical striker: he is neither a typical centre-forward nor a second striker. However, it is clear that he does not like the role of the lone striker, with several attacking midfielders in support.

Both with Nico Gonzalez in the first half and with Woltemade in the second, the Frenchman was freed from the constraints of his role, demanded individual actions and behaved as if he were not carrying the weight of the attack alone, gaining more freedom of action. Spalletti has noticed this, but perhaps he is also waiting for the return of Yildiz to try another attacking partner, capable of highlighting the Frenchman's finishing instinct as best he can.

Andi Bushati: An autumn with an end-of-regime atmosphere

Whether it's his own party's own dice that throw him a punch, whether it's citizens who boo him in the street, whether it's the brave SPAK prosecutors who have gotten close to his throat, or international journalists who compare him to the godfather, one thing shows that Edi Rama's political curve has reached its end. His propaganda narrative is already over.

Blendi Kajsiu: Prime Minister's misunderstanding on anti-corruption

The fact that no institution of our public administration noticed that millions of euros were invested in phantom incinerators, that AKSHI was controlled by an ordinary criminal, that the directors of the Municipality of Tirana awarded tenders to themselves, or that the police director and the director of SHISH worked for Gysi, shows that we do not have a public administration and a state.
