Juventus stopped on the move from Cagliari, in a match that ultimately reserved a moment of tension between technicians Spalletti and Pisacane, who were expelled by the referee. But, seeing what happened on the field, there were also those who received criticism for the performance in the 1-1 draw, a result that pleases the Sardinians, who remain in fourth place in the standings, but somewhat less the black and whites. In the studio of the show La Domenica Sportiva, Lele Adani was particularly harsh on Edon Zhegrova, who was activated at the beginning of the second half instead of the Portuguese Conceição. According to him, the footballer is not suitable for Juventus' ambitions and is not cut out to have a starting role in this team. During this season, he has scored only two goals against Sassuolo and has never started a match as a starter.
Adani criticizes Zhegrova at Juventus
The second half developed by the Kosovar striker against Cagliari was not negative, but, at the end of his analysis, Adani thinks that this is not enough to get a Juventus that is still not finding the right rhythm out of difficulties. The former footballer starts the discussion from the transfer market and the approaches that, according to him, are not suitable for Spalletti's project, as has been noticed since the first weeks of this championship. Then, the attention is focused on Zhegrova: "Today football is fluid and it is not wrong to have more ideas, but the problem is to have limitations. Zhegrova is not a player of Juventus level, he has nothing in common with this level: he is a player for half an hour, Juventus cannot have such footballers".
Adani was not convinced by the second half played by the striker and does not consider him suitable for the ambitions that the Black and Whites want to pursue this season: "We need players ready to be starters, not footballers for thirty minutes. Zhegrova is a player suitable for sixth place, but he takes a step forward when a footballer like him plays three games in a row."
The Kosovar is not the only problem in Juventus' attack, where no one has been able to stand out so far. Kolo Muani scored the equalizer against Cagliari, but this was one of the few standout moments in a season that has already raised alarm bells for the Bianconeri.
