There are times when reality surprises us in such a way that we wonder if everything we see, hear or read really happens or if it is an imaginary part of a movie script. This is what one can easily affirm when reading what happened to the little niece of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
According to an investigation by independent Russian journalists, based on files obtained by the Russian border guard service, the Russian president's granddaughter is Elsa Igorevna Tikhonova, 8 years old.
She was born in December 2017 and is said to be the daughter of 40-year-old Katerina Tikhonova, the younger of the two publicly known daughters of Vladimir Putin and his ex-wife Lyudmila Okretnaya.
Coincidentally, Putin's daughter is married to 56-year-old Russian dancer and director Igor Zelensky. But Vladimir Putin's granddaughter cannot bear the surname Zelensky!!!
The records show that the child is using her mother's surname, Tikhonova, and not "Zelenskaya," the feminine form of her father's surname. The journalists' investigation does not explain why the surname "Zelensky" disappeared from the girl's full name.
The daughter of the Russian Tsar, mathematics and physics graduate and former ballerina Katerina Tikhonova, was born Katerina Putin but has used a different surname for years. Vladimir Putin himself has never publicly confirmed that Tikhonova is his daughter, although mainstream international media and sanctions imposed by the US and other Western governments have referred to her as a member of his family.
According to information published by Russian state authorities, Elsa's first trip outside Russia took place on November 11, 2019, shortly before she turned 2 years old.
The little girl reportedly traveled with her parents on a private jet operated by German airline Air Hamburg, which is now owned by tycoon Thomas Flor's global airline VistaJet. The family (it is not known whether Tikhonova and Zelensky were married or engaged) stayed for exactly two months in Munich, where Igor Zelensky was working at the time (and since 2016) as artistic director of the Bavarian State Ballet. ©LAPSI.al
