Nothing unexpected, then, in terms of figures, but the black and white fans hope that the day will leave behind a surprising announcement: that of Alessandro Del Piero as the new president of Juve.
More than unconfirmed information, it is a hope, a suggestion. It all started with the uproar on social networks caused by a post by the former Juventus captain on Threads yesterday: "Photo day, Turin. Stay connected", reads the text accompanying the very elegant photo of ADP10. Del Piero's social profile was immediately flooded with messages that went in one direction: "Will they make you president?", "Are you going home?", "It's not happening, but if it happens...". The 51-year-old's silence, accompanied by several other movements on social networks (publishing another photo on Threads in front of the Stadium and sharing the initial photo on Instagram), did the rest.
In fact, the Board of Directors can discuss any issue, including the election of a new president, which, we recall, is currently Gianluca Ferrero, who would have to leave, with the appointment to be ratified at the shareholders' meeting to be called between November 2 and 6. The other option is a direct appointment in this second case, but in any case it would be agreed about a month in advance, when the agenda of the shareholders' meeting would be published.
Del Piero's connection with the Juve presidency is not new, but, as Corriere della Sera recalls, it has always been denied by the club's leaders and so it has been in recent hours: will the Board of Directors show something different?
