The Albanian national team has concluded preparations in Helsinki for one of the important challenges of this edition of the UEFA Nations League. The Red and Blacks will face Finland on Saturday, in a match where the objective is another positive result in their journey in the group.
The last training session has given coach Rolando Maran the opportunity to work with the full group. According to information from the Albanian Football Association, all players in Helsinki are in optimal condition for the challenge and the technical staff has carried out the final preparations without any new physical problems.
Maran tests standard schemes and shots
In the last training session, the focus was on some of the elements that could be decisive during the match against Finland. The players first carried out physical exercises, before moving on to the tactical aspect. Maran and his staff tested game plans and team organization, while a significant part of the session was also dedicated to set pieces.
On the eve of such a match, details can make the difference and the Italian coach has used the last session to consolidate the ideas that Albania is expected to apply on the field.
Hasa recovers, but remains in Tirana
A positive development also comes from the situation of Luis Hasa. The midfielder, who is currently in Tirana after having had an episode of high fever, is in the recovery phase. The Communications Department of the Albanian Football Association has announced that Hasa has started a personalized training program at the National Team Clinic. However, the midfielder will not be part of the squad for the challenge in Helsinki.
The plan is for Hasa to continue individual work in order to be available for Albania's final match in this series, against San Marino on October 6 at the "Air Albania" stadium.
Facing Finland, the next test
Albania will take to the field at 15:00, at the “Helsinki Olympic” stadium, to play their third match in the UEFA Nations League. After the final preparations, the ball is now in the players' court. Maran has completed the tactical and physical work at his disposal, while the challenge against Finland will show how ready the team is to translate the work done in training into a positive result.
