Heavy rainfall has affected the Kukes region since yesterday afternoon, causing problems on several road axes. During the night, the intensity of the rainfall increased and in some segments, rocks and inert materials fell. Problems were noted on the axes towards Valbona, Fierzë–Bajram Curri, Qafë Morinë, Kam–Krumë, Kukës–Qafë Mali, as well as on the roads towards Shishtavec and Bushtricë.
The fog has also made traffic in the city of Kukës difficult. Since the early hours of the morning, maintenance teams have been working to clear the roads and normalize traffic. Drivers are asked to exercise increased caution, while the unstable weather is expected to continue throughout the weekend.
