A few hours before Kanye West's 4 million euro concert, Prime Minister Edi Rama decided to give the artist another symbolic gift. In the Prime Minister's Office, he received the American rapper and handed him the book "The Albanian Files", the publication that has been at the center of political debate and protests for weeks. A not-so-random gift, which summarizes hundreds of development projects in Albania, including investments that have sparked protests, such as the one in Zvërnec. 

The meeting was published by Rama himself in a video on Facebook. The head of government accompanied the post with a Kanye West song and the five-star symbol. A detail that many commentators read as another jab at the one-star rating campaign on Google Reviews, which during the protests has targeted businesses that citizens associate with oligarchs.

This meeting takes place at a time when Kanye West's concert continues to be accompanied by political controversy. The public funding has prompted strong criticism, while the opposition has warned that it will report the matter to SPAK.
