"For Enver, a star and light"/ What happened in the presence of the

A video of Florika Ngucaj reciting a poem about Enver Hoxha in the presence of the mayor of Lushnja, Eriselda Sefa, at an event organized in the city's library has caused numerous reactions online.

The video was also shared by DP MP Saimir Korreshi, who considered the event scandalous.

"In the premises of the Library, inside the building of the City Museum, which is administered by the Lushnje Municipality - the dictator is glorified, sung to and applauded. This in the presence of the Mayor, who also took the floor. A great shame, a Municipal scandal!!" - wrote Korreshi.

It wasn't long before the mayor of Lushnja, Eriselda Sefa, reacted by publishing a more complete video, as according to her, the footage published by Koreshi was incomplete and taken out of context.

"The opposition MP from Lushnja, Mr. Saimir Korreshi, published a fragment from this activity in the speech given by Mr. Neki Ngucaj's daughter, where a recitation of hers was taken out of context, referring to a bitter memory of this family persecuted during the communist period, a metaphor that brought to attention the indoctrination methods of children in the dictatorship!

"The full video attached to this reaction shows how malicious you have to be to detach a fragment from an important activity, to get some credit in the public opinion. In fact, having this fearsome ego for public attention, you can also become ridiculous, as in the current case," Sefa wrote.

The DP MP reacted again by recalling that there are a number of resolutions that prohibit reciting about the Dictator and Communism in public institutions.

"I spoke and the Mayor said no. The media in Qivirri-Bishki attacked me as if I had been the first and had taken it out of context for political reasons. Yes, yes."

What a shame. I will give it to any media that cannot find the publications. My position is and remains unwavering: being persecuted does not give you the right to recite in state institutions. Point.

The representatives of the institution who are present should not allow it, no matter what they call the context. It is forbidden, oooo Speaker!!” – writes the DP deputy. ©LAPSI.al

Blendi Kajsiu: Prime Minister's misunderstanding on anti-corruption

The fact that no institution of our public administration noticed that millions of euros were invested in phantom incinerators, that AKSHI was controlled by an ordinary criminal, that the directors of the Municipality of Tirana awarded tenders to themselves, or that the police director and the director of SHISH worked for Gysi, shows that we do not have a public administration and a state.
