Fire in Himara, one person detained

A person has been detained by the police as a suspect in causing a fire in the village of Vranisht, in the Himara municipality.

According to police sources, the person was escorted and detained after suspicions that he may be the perpetrator of the arson. Authorities are continuing verifications to clarify the circumstances and causes of the fire.

Meanwhile, the situation on the ground continues to be monitored. Firefighters are working to isolate and extinguish the flames, while the difficult terrain has necessitated aerial intervention.

   
Two helicopters and a plane have arrived to assist the operation, intervening in areas where ground vehicles and teams have difficulty approaching.

Authorities continue efforts to bring the fire under control, while new information is expected regarding the detained person and his possible responsibility for the arson.
