Murdered 20-year-old Frenchman in Ksamil, perpetrator arrested in Fier

Është arrestuar në Fier 29-vjeçari Sokrat Vata, i dyshuar për vrasjen e turistit francez Migel Mendes në Ksamil. Ngjarja ndodhi mëngjesin e sotëm. 20-vjeçari u gjet pa shenja jete në shezlongët e beach barit “Principotes”, në zonën bregdetare të Ksamilit.

Sipas të dhënave paraprake, Mendes kishte qenë në lokal me disa persona të tjerë. Gjatë qëndrimit aty, ai u përfshi në një konflikt ku u përfshinë disa persona. I riu francez dyshohet se u nxor jashtë lokalit dhe më pas u godit me thikë pranë hyrjes. Si autor i dyshuar u identifikua Sokrat Vata, 29 vjeç, nga Hasi, i cili punonte si truprojë.

Pas krimit, Vata u largua nga vendngjarja. Kërkimet vijuan deri në lokalizimin dhe arrestimin e tij në Fier. 29-vjeçari rezulton me precedentë penalë edhe në Britaninë e Madhe. Në vitin 2024 ai është dënuar atje për trafik droge. Policia dhe prokuroria vijojnë hetimet për të zbardhur plotësisht dinamikën dhe motivin e vrasjes.
